Infrared Thermal Imaging Inspections in Calgary

Every material gives off infrared energy based on its surface temperature. When insulation is missing behind a wall, that patch reads colder on a January morning. When water has soaked into a ceiling, evaporation makes it cooler than the surrounding board. When a breaker connection is loose, resistance makes it hotter than its neighbours. The camera makes all of it visible in seconds.

In practice, we scan exterior walls, ceilings below attics, rim joists, around windows and doors, under bathrooms and kitchens, and across the electrical panel. Findings are captured as paired thermal and visible-light images so you can see exactly what we saw and where.

Thermal imaging is a diagnostic aid, not a guarantee. Conditions matter: the best results come when there's a meaningful temperature difference between inside and outside, which in Calgary means most of the year. We confirm suspected moisture findings with a moisture meter before reporting them as such.
